Those categories will be Jangla, Tanchoi, Tissue, Vaskat Butidar, Cutwork and most importantly Banarasi Silk Jamdani.

The Process Of Making Banarasi Saree:

The process of making Banarasi saree with the colorful dying of the Silk. Also, those silks are then sold by weight and power loom people take them to weave the elementary texture of the saree. They create the base in the weaving warp, which runs into 24 to 26 mts. Additionally, there are about 56 00 thread wires with the 45-inch width. Two people tie a rope around their waist to hold the form while another is grounded. Every inch, which contains 120 silk wires, is created.

Three people work on weaves at the weaving loom. One person dye and other two work at the Revolving to create lacchis. At this juncture, initiated or designing the motifs is another important process. Now those designs are of varying types, but most universal kinds are Buti, Caixg(Kalka) and flower and foliage. There are scenes of fairs, village, cloud, dancing-monkey, temple and mosque design. In modern days, you can see geometrical designs have come in, but the traditional folk design remains the base appeal for Banarasi silk Saree.

Once the design of saree is chosen, small punch cards are made those are guides for particular which color thread needs to go through which card at what stage. Do you know- For one small design one needs to create hundreds of perforated cards to implement the idea. Once those perforated cards are prepared, they are knitted with various threads and colors on the loom and are paddled in a systematic manner according to design that the main weaving picks up right pattern and color to create the design and weave as well. A normal saree takes about 15 days to 1 month to create and the time limit stretches even unto 6 months. Once the sarees are created, they are sold at wholesale rates.
